It’s all about love…NOT!

We all need love. When it comes to love, we all are end consumers. People say it’s love what we live for. We seek love, in any form. So did she.
He gave her attention, she loved it. He pampered her, she cherished it. He complimented her, she accepted it. He was like an addiction, she got addicted to it. He was the flame, she was the moth. He demanded, she refused. He changed, she ignored. He was rude, she ignored. He fought, she made up. She confronted, he shouted. She was upset, he ignored. She stopped talking, he didn’t care. End of story.
When life isn’t all roses, we hold on to the only rose we see with all our might. Even if it is full of thorns. Only to realise later, it isn’t even ours. We can’t see the truth because the lie soothed us or maybe we don’t want to see it. We choose to ignore the obvious signs of it all being a deceit with a hope it might turn good. It’s true, sometimes addiction, even to humans, is so strong that knowing they are wrong, bad, not worth it, we still can’t shun them. Don’t give in to the temptation, don’t fall for the cover. I suggest you share, whenever in such dilemma, share. Tell your friends. Take their advice, their help. Overcome the addiction. Difficult but not at all impossible. Know that you deserve better. And to all leeches playing with other person’s emotions, karma is a bitch. Wait till it attacks you.
But something to ponder. Who’s at fault here? Girl who couldn’t gauge the guy’s lousy treacherous character or the guy who tried to misuse a girl’s innocence and plight?

Mr. Leech

I always feel that I am blessed to be a girl. But some people just want to ruin it for me. Want to make me realize, by every chance they get, that being a girl is not a rosy journey at all. It is due to these people who the debate of girl vs boy ever came into existence. There exist a kind of men, some loser pathetic obnoxious moron men/boys who think they are superior just because they are male. Ew. Dude, firstly that thought makes you the worst person ever.
I am talking about the kind who are so desperate that they can’t resist teasing a girl walking on the footpath. Girl sitting in a ladies compartment visible from their seat is, according to them, something they own and they can look at or comment on them as much as they want. Girls driving scooty are a toy for the kind of people I am talking about. Addictive toy. They never miss playing with them. And yeah some girls ignore them, some remind them of their mothers and sisters. But that seems to be having no effect on them. Sheeaa. Any girl getting married to such a leech, I pity you.
Sometimes ignoring them seems the only option left. Because in these kind of people too there is a sub-kind. There are some who if see the girl retaliate, will stop. While for some the game becomes all the more interesting, like the only motto left in their life is to irritate, tease and humiliate the girl who objected on being teased. How is the girl suppose to know which guy belongs where? Trying to stop them risks having them all the more interested. Some just don’t fear the presence of people around. Apparently a guy doesn’t have to bother that, right? Because obviously everyone will end up saying ‘zarur ladki ne hint di hogi’. Which girl would like a roadside leach to be interested in her? It simply is a win-win situation for boys.
No girl deserves to be treated that way. None at all. The guys who think that teasing, suppressing or dominating a girl makes you macho, go die. It makes you sick. You really deserve to wear bangles. You know why? Because you feel the need to use a girl to prove your manhood.
Respect her, protect her and prove you are a gentleman. She is no toy of yours to play with whenever you wish to. Just because she is tolerating you, doesn’t mean she is scared, no. She doesn’t find you worthy of being corrected. She can very well crush your ego with that sandal of her’s. But she doesn’t have an ego to need an ego massage by crushing your ego. She is dignified, not egoistic like you. Get it?

Hum Tum (You and Me) !!!

Now there must have been numerous articles, debates, blog posts on this topic. And why not, the topic is interesting enough for everyone to have a say. Anyway Indians are famous for having views and giving free advises. That is a reason why twitter, WordPress, Facebook are full of people sharing their views, some even without knowing about things 😛 But that’s another story for another day. For now I better stick to this topic.
It is quite tough to start with it because too many thoughts clouded my mind just as I started thinking about this. I have heard boys saying that girls always find flaws and reasons to fight, then I wonder why all boys keep on cracking jokes, trying to prove they are witty, on all the issues they have with girls. The way may be different but both a guy and a girl crib. Lets talk about something boys seem to be having major problem with. Shopping. It must have been ages but guys just don’t stop complaining about shopping their moms, sisters, girlfriends, wives do. Personally I hate shopping but I still believe that girls/women are justified in shopping more than guys. Dude, we have options and so many of them. Also as a guy don’t you boast about your wife or lover when she looks good. Strange, you want your girl to look good but can’t help her with it. Huh. And the sweet and pretty home you bring your friends, colleague or other guests to is sweet and pretty because your mom, sister or wife shopped for hours trying to find best suited thing at the cheapest price. Try doing that sometimes, I bet you’ll never crib about them shopping. You guys should, on the other hand, be grateful that girls love to shop. It makes things all the more easy. I agree that having the patience to shop is not a guy thing. But Guys, if you can’t help them, big deal, girls can and have always managed. At least don’t crib or joke about it.
Next big thing is sports. Guys love sports, that’s hardly a secret. But I have even seen numerous girls who love sports too, not as much as guys though. Girls, most of them, have been found complaining about boys/men giving more importance to matches or video games rather than them. Girls, you should be happy that it’s just a game or sport and not another girl. And we can go on and on and on about who finds wrong in the other. A guy and a girl don’t think same and wherever there are differences in thinking, values, choices, the differences in opinions is ought to happen.
The point is how beautifully one understands and accepts these differences. And yes to me these differences are very beautiful. Both a girl and a guy are unique and rightly so. I don’t like the cliché debate girls and boys are equal and blah blah. To me they are different and have different places in society. It should be emphasized that both must be given equal rights rather than proving they are equal. If there are things that a guy can do which a girl cannot then there also exist things which girls can do but guys cannot. And it’s so much better this way. Who said a girl cannot propose (in fact some girls have done it) but girls love it when a guy takes initiative and proposes. Similarly, girls can very well open car, hotel, mall doors but they expect their guy to be polite and chivalrous (not always though). Also not all girls will agree to the above point. There are few hardcore feminists who won’t. Some guys love to be the decision makers. It doesn’t mean they are doubtful of a girl’s ability to decide but they just like having the last say.
Girls understand emotions better than guys while guys are physically better than girls. Together they are perfect. Girl adds emotion to a relation while a guy adds security and protects it. It’s not that guys aren’t emotional they just have a hard time showing it. Also girls can be defensive but they want their guy to do that. So I have no qualms admitting that I am officially out of ‘girls and boys are equal’ debate. I believe they are unique in their own way and should be given equal rights.

Six Super annoying things about men!!

I read this article by Nandita Ravi in TOI few days back. Found it pretty interesting and amusing so sharing it..

Ball scratching: In public. Or even in private. The less said the better. Not just gross and embarrassing, but makes you wish that the earth would just open up and swallow you (or him, depending on how mad you are). Farting and burping also fall in this category. Trust us, that’s just not the way we want to know what they had for lunch!

Road rage: Especially against women. How is it that the men always assume that a bad driver has to be a woman? Yes, we might have our leverage with traffic policemen, but that doesn’t mean that we travel in amoebic speeds on the road. Pay some attention next time; it just might be one of your own behind the wheel.

The male ego: Fragile is the word that can be used to describe the male ego. Other words that you can use for the same are huge, confusing and even downright deplorable. Here are a few examples of what men think are great ego boosters – vrooming on a bike in the middle of a traffic jam that’s a mile long, making a woman feel about three inches tall, confusing two diverse terms like possessiveness and protectiveness… the list is quite endless. Annoying as hell isn’t it?

Dirty talk: Or even talk in general. What is hilarious is when they tread on tough topics like ‘giving each other space’ and ‘it’s not you it’s me’. Not only do they not have a clue about what they are saying, it sounds downright made up, to say the least. And please, dirty talking and bad mouthing is just not the way to flirt. We hate to break your bubble. It is absolutely revolting.

Sheer dumbness: Here’s a familiar scene. You are arguing like crazy with the guy you are seeing and at the end of what seems like hours, he asks you, “So what is your problem now”. What have we been screaming for the last four hours, retard? Sounds familiar? We don’t blame you.

Selfishness: An annoying thing about men is that they live in this little world of their own, where they think that the world revolves around their central axis. Breaking news. It doesn’t. Though you might think that everything is about you, it unfortunately isn’t. Respect the fact that we have a life that is independent of your likes and dislikes – that is all we ask.

All you men/boys please read and understand.

PS: I had lot of sadistic pleasure posting and reading it. Ha!
